Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation is reportedly getting ready to release two new handsets on the network of wireless carrier Sprint in the not too distant future, namely the HTC One M8 Plus and HTC Desire 510.

According to a recent post on droid-now, both of these handsets will be released in about two months, yet no further details on them have been provided as of now.

Apparently, the info has been leaked by a Sprint manager and suggests that Sprint is already getting ready for testing both the HTC One M8 Plus and HTC Desire 510.

Take the info with a big grain of salt for the time being, as it might all turn out to be nothing more than a rumor.

In fact, we are wondering what a HTC One M8 Plus smartphone could bring new when compared to the already available HTC One M8, and why HTC would be planning the release of a refresh to this model only several months after bringing it to the market.

However, as said news site notes, chances are that this is merely a placeholder name for the HTC One E8, which has already been released in some markets out there.
