On March 25, HTC will make official its next Android-based flagship handset, long rumored as the All New HTC One, and it seems that some retailers will have it available for their users right from day one, Carphone Warehouse included.

In fact, the company has already confirmed that users interested in the purchase of the new device, codenamed HTC M8, will get the chance to do so starting with 4PM that day.

According to pocket-lint, the retailer also confirmed that the smartphone would be put up for sale through six of its stores in London, including Westfield Stratford, Westfield White City, Oxford Circus, Centrepoint, and Tottenham Court Road.

Apparently, Carphone Warehouse plans on hosting a series of special launch events for the device at said locations. On top of that, the company confirmed that the phone would start selling through the Selfridges Carphone Warehouse concession as well.

The device will also be up for grabs for the retailer’s users over phone on the afternoon of launch day, it seems. Soon after, it should arrive in all of the company’s 770 stores around the country.

"The HTC One is an award winning handset that set the bar for design during 2013 and made many sit up and take notice – the new HTC One M8 is likely to continue that trend and will cement HTC's future as a heavy-hitting smartphone manufacturer,” a Carphone Warehouse official reportedly said.

“We know how keen customers are to get hold of the latest tech as soon as possible and that is why we are so excited to be able to offer the new HTC One so quickly after it is unveiled.”

In case you missed previous reports on the All New HTC One (aka HTC New One, HTC One 2014, and HTC One M8), you should know that it will arrive on the market with a metal body, the same as its predecessor last year, as well as with HTC Zoe and UltraPixel technology inside.

Moreover, rumor has it that the phone will feature a larger, 5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a full HD resolution and that it will be powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor.

Moreover, the handset is expected to include 2GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes. On the back, it should pack two 5MP UltraPixel cameras, paired with a 5MP front camera for video calling.

HTC is expected to load the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system on top of this smartphone right from the start, and it should also pack it with the Sense 6.0 user interface.
