Starting today, Verizon customers can purchase the brand-new HTC One (M8) smartphone from their wireless carrier both online and in-store, at $199.99 (€145), with the signing of a two-year contract agreement.

Other operators in the United States have also started selling the device to their users, such as AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile, but Verizon is the only one to have it in stores until April 9, HTC has announced.

The best part of the deal, however, is the fact that Big Red is also providing its users with the possibility to purchase one HTC One (M8) and get a second one for free.

For only $199.99 (€145), they will get two new devices, although they will need to sign up for a contract agreement for each of them, it seems. According to Verizon, the promotion will be available only for a limited period of time.

“Customers can add the new HTC One (M8) to their MORE Everything plans and get services such as 25 GB of cloud storage. The Verizon Edge program is also available for eligible customers who want to upgrade,” the wireless carrier also announced.

The new HTC One (M8) was made official today as the successor of last year’s HTC One flagship and will be available in over 100 countries by the end of April.
