HTC’s flagship Android smartphone, the One M8, seems to have the same level of success as the previous model. The One M8 has received many praises from the media and users alike and will probably become the most awarded smartphone for 2014.

Even though sales are not on par with those of Samsung’s Galaxy S5, at least HTC improved the sales of its flagship smartphone year over year.

In order to boost its revenue, the Taiwanese handset maker has decided to start producing mid-range Android smartphones once again, although last year, it announced that it would focus on the high-end market.

The Desire 816 and Desire 615 have already been met with high demand in the countries where they were introduced last month and the Taiwanese company barely manages to keep up with the orders.

Although we can’t say the same about the HTC One M8, at least the company is gaining money from its products instead of losing.

Last week, HTC teased its next One smartphone, but it did not offer any details on its specs sheet. Instead, it made some references to women in fashionable clothes, which might suggest that the handset maker plans to launch a smartphone aimed at fashionistas.

Today, Chinese blog site Ifanr reports that it has learned that HTC will launch the so-called One M8 Ace Vogue Edition in China on June 3. The smartphone is expected to go on sale for only 3,000 yuan outright, which is about $480 or €350.

However, unlike the standard HTC One M8, which is made of aluminum alloy, the Ace Vogue Edition is likely to be manufactured from some kind of stylish plastic, which is one of the reasons that it will be much cheaper.

On the inside, HTC One M8 Ace Vogue Edition seems to be equipped with the same hardware as the One M8. This means that it will pack the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset, which accommodates a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

The smartphone will also sport a 5-inch Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. On the back, the Ace Vogue Edition will boast a 13-megapixel photo snapper, while in the front, there will be a 5-megapixel camera.

Other highlights that should be included with the unannounced HTC One M8 Ace Vogue Edition is Android 4.4 KitKat, HTC Sense 6.0 UI, 2600 mAh battery and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 128GB).
