The smartphone will not feature dual cameras, as the HTC One M8 does

One of the handsets that Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation has been long rumored to bring to the market in the not-too-distant future is the HTC One M8 Ace, a smartphone that might have made an appearance online today.

A leaked photo that emerged online courtesy of ifanr.com (republished by HTCsoku) shows the back of a device resembling the HTC One M8 but packing a much more curved back, and also lacking the dual-camera setup present on the latest flagship handset from the company.

The yet unannounced handset appears to feature a polycarbonate body, which is both horizontally and vertically curved, something that should help a lot with the grip, as PhoneArena notes.

Even though the HTC One M8 Ace has been rumored quite a few times before, little has actually been known on what it will look like until now.

The allegedly leaked photo with the device that can be seen attached to this article shows only the back of HTC One M8 Ace. The front, however, is expected to be similar to that of the HTC One M8 that landed on shelves in late March.

There’s no telling whether the leaked photo is indeed the real deal, but chances are that things will indeed turn out this way, especially when taking into consideration the latest teasers that HTC has published online.

In a tweet, the company has said that something “curvy” is set to hit shelves soon, while also attaching the image available below to the message. Stay tuned for more on this.
