Good news for Android fans who own a Google Play Edition smartphone, as the latest update for the mobile platform is now available for download for their devices.

We reported yesterday that T-Mobile had started to roll out the Android 4.4.3 KitKat for Nexus 4 and Nexus 5, but now it looks like the update is available for additional devices.

HTC has just confirmed that its One M7 and One M8 Google Play Edition smartphones are now receiving Android 4.4.3 KitKat update OTA (over the air), so it should reach all the devices in the next few days.

But that is not all. Sony Xperia Z Ultra Google Play Edition is also eligible for the upgrade and users have already started to report that they have been able to capture the update.

Last but not least, it appears that Android 4.4.3 KitKat update is also available for Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition, as owners have just confirmed that they have managed to upgrade to the latest version.

It looks like Google was pretty fast with this update, as many Nexus devices have not received the update yet, and still, Android 4.4.3 KitKat has already been pushed to other smartphones.

There’s no word on when exactly the update will arrive on the standard editions of the smartphones mentioned earlier, but we hope that that will happen sooner rather than later.
