Last week, the Sense 6.0 user interface started to roll out to last year’s HTC One (M7) models in North America, and it seems that the update is now available for users in other markets out there as well.

Among them, we can count users in Asia (in Hong Kong), to be more precise, where the operating system update is currently rolling out to HTC One (M7) as software version 5.12.708.3.

According to a recent tweet coming from LlabTooFeR, the new firmware release arrives on devices as a 747.16MB download.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the Sense 6.0 UI update arrived on HTC One Developer Edition and Unlocked models in the United States last week.

The update comes with most of the features and capabilities announced for Sense 6.0 on the HTC One M8 earlier this year, but it also lacks some of the functionality, mainly due to a series of hardware limitations.

The same is expected to happen with the firmware refresh on all HTC One (M7) models, given that the new flagship model comes with new hardware elements.

Among the features that did make it through, however, we can count updated Gallery and Camera apps, the Extreme Power Saving Mode, Image Match, support for POI (Point of Interest), location in map view, and an enhanced HTC Blinkfeed.
