The update has already landed at other carriers out there

Owners of HTC One (M7) devices on the network of wireless carrier AT&T in the United States can now download and install the Sense 6.0 UI on their devices.

The update has been available for the handset at other wireless carriers out there, as well as on other markets, but AT&T has been a bit slow with its approval.

However, HTC did announce over the weekend that the software had received the necessary approvals, and the official roll out kicked off on Wednesday, it seems.

Some HTC One (M7) on AT&T’s network have already confirmed successful installations, which suggests that the roll out is in full swing.

However, as it usually happens with new firmware releases, it will take a while before all users receive it, maybe several days.

As soon as the new software is available for them, they will receive a notification on the matter and will be able to kick off the update process immediately.

However, users can also manually check on the availability of the update, by heading to Settings > About Phone > Software Updates, and clicking on the Check now button.

As Android Central notes, as part of Sense 6.0, users will receive an updated BlinkFeed, a series of UI tweaks, new power management options, and other enhancements as well.
