Starting today, owners of HTC One M7 devices in Canada can download and install the Sense 6.0 user interface on their smartphones, as HTC has officially started to push the update to them OTA.

The update is based on the Android 4.4.2 KitKat platform release, and it should also come to handsets with a series of camera and performance improvements packed inside.

As MobileSyrup notes, the new firmware release arrives on phones as software version 5.11.661.8 and weighs 668MB.

Following the update, users should be able to take advantage of more intuitive photo-taking capabilities, as well as of a better gallery app design.

At the same time, the Sense 6.0 UI arrives on HTC One M7 devices out there with an Extreme Power Saving mode, which is meant to provide users with some more juice when the battery is almost empty.

At the same time, the new update was meant to provide users with better font rendering and more type options, along with color-coded themes aimed at changing the accent colors system-wide.

There is also a new Clear All button in recent apps, along with a great deal of new content sources included in the BlinkFeed, which should result in a better overall experience for all users.
