The smartphone will be launched in China soon

Even though HTC will continue to launch mid-range smartphones in the Desire series, the company now seems to focus on high-end products.

The company's One family contains lots of high-end smartphones, but as of lately the number of devices launched by HTC got us confused.

The Taiwanese handset maker introduced quite a few HTC One devices in the last couple of weeks, but they are not available worldwide. It's as if HTC wants to launch a different HTC One smartphone in each country where it thinks its brand will sell well.

Today, yet another HTC One smartphone has been spotted at TENAA, GSMDome reports. The new handset is dubbed E9sw, which doesn't say absolutely anything.

A downgraded version of HTC One E9+

Still, judging from its specs, this is a slightly downgraded version of HTC One E9+ which was quietly unveiled in China in late March.

The new HTC One E9sw will be launched in China too, but no details on pricing and availability have been shared for the moment.

We do know, however, that the smartphone will ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right out of the box, which isn't a surprise.

The One E9sw is expected to sport a 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution. Furthermore, the smartphone is equipped with a 1.5GHz octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.

There's no mention of microSD card slot for memory expansion, but we suspect there will be one included in HTC One E9sw.

On the back, HTC's upcoming Android smartphone will pack a 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while in the front there will be a 4-UltraPixel camera for selfies and video calls.

It's also worth mentioning that HTC One E9sw will be powered by a 2,600 mAh battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.

While we don't know when HTC will launch the One E9sw in China, we do know it will be available in seven color options: black, white, blue, gray, gold, red and orange.
