HTC seems to be determined to unleash a never-ending amount of mid- and high-end Android smartphones, which are available either globally or just in some regions.

The One E9st is the latest addition to its Android lineup of mid-range Android smartphone. The smartphone recently made its way to TENAA, the Chinese regulatory commission, so we expect it to be officially introduced very soon.

Obviously, the One E9st will be launched under a different marketing name, though it's unclear whether or not this one will be rolled out internationally.

We do know that it will certainly be launched in China since it features China Mobile's logo on its back panel. This doesn't mean that it can't be released on other countries as well, but for the time being we don't have any info on pricing options and availability.

Moving on to specs, the One E9st comes with lower specs than its recently unveiled One E9+ predecessor.

It will ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop right out of the box

For example, the smartphone sports a 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that sports HD (720p) resolution, while the One E9+ has a similar display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1400 pixels) resolution.

It's also worth mentioning that the One E9st is equipped with an octa-core processor clocked at a.15GHz, as well as 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

On the back, the mid-range smartphone packs a 13-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front there' s a secondary 4-UltraPixel camera for video calls and selfies.

We expect the HTC One E9st to be officially unveiled in the coming weeks, though we're not sure when exactly it will be available on the market. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
