HTC One, one of the most anticipated Android smartphones, is about to make its entrance on the market. Unfortunately for HTC, if the device goes on sale at the same time as Samsung Galaxy S IV, it will probably fail to give the Taiwanese company enough traction.

All in all, HTC One remains one of the hottest smartphones these days, which is why the Taiwanese company is trying to raise the hype around its flagship device even more.

HTC One has been recently teased at Best Buy, Phonearena reports. The smartphone has been tagged as “Coming Soon,” though no word on its pricing options and availability has been unveiled.

However, Best Buy confirms that all customers who pre-order the HTC One will receive a $50/€40 gift card. It’s unclear whether the smartphone is available for pre-order online or customers will only be able to pre-purchase the HTC One at Best Buy brick and mortar stores.

What’s clear is the fact that the phone will ship with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, which means that HTC will have to deliver an additional Android 4.2 upgrade in the coming months.

Hardware-wise, HTC One is equipped with a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, which is complemented by an Adreno 320 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

On the inside, the device comes packed with 32GB or 64GB of storage, which cannot be further increased due to the fact that HTC One does not feature microSD card slot for memory expansion.

Another strong point of the phone is the 4.7-inch Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 2 coating.

Last but not least, the smartphone boasts a 4 ultrapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.
