Today, Canadian wireless carrier Rogers officially confirmed the upcoming availability of the HTC One smartphone on its network starting with April 19.

Made official back in February, the smartphone was made available for pre-order through the wireless carrier at the end of that month, and is still up for reservations for those interested in securing one for the release day, at $149.99 on a three-year contract.

“The #HTCOne will be arriving at Rogers April 19. Reserve yours on the Rogers Reservation System or pre-order now,” the wireless carrier announced in a recent post on Twitter.

HTC One, the latest flagship Android smartphone from Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC, will arrive on shelves in the United States on April 19 as well, as carriers in the country have already confirmed.

HTC One was made official with a 4.7-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, as well as with a quad-core processor inside, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal memory.

Furthermore, the device sports a 4MP UltraPixel photo snapper on the back, which should deliver a new experience when it comes to taking photos, HTC claims. A front camera for making video calls was also included.

The specs list of this smartphone also includes support for Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth connectivity, GPS receiver, and the usual set of sensors.

At Rogers, HTC One will arrive with support for 4G LTE, and will be able to offer fast data transfer speeds on the carrier’s network.

“The HTC One is an exceptional smartphone experience with multimedia and social networking features only available from HTC,” Rogers notes on its website.

“Get real time social media updates on your homescreen with Blink Feed, take amazingly clear photos and vidoes with HTC Zoe, control your home entertainment experiences with Sense TV, and enjoy dual front stereo speaker sound with HTC BoomSound. HTC One lets you do it all.”
