Taiwanese handset vendor HTC confirmed yesterday that its entire HTC One series of smartphones will make its debut on the market on April 2.

Although the company did not elaborate on which carrier will launch the smartphones, we already have enough info for most regions of the world.

In this regard, Vodafone Australia is one of the first operators that officially announces the upcoming availability of the HTC One X in the country.

According to the carrier, the One X will arrive in store at Vodafone on April 3. Still, Vodafone has already stated to take pre-orders for the HTC One X. The smartphone is available for free on Vodafone’s $59 plan over 24-months.

It is also worth mentioning customers who purchase the new HTC One X will also be able to benefit from the Vodafone Network Guarantee.

HTC One X is one of most powerful Android smartphones in the market. The device is equipped with a quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, which is complemented by an ULP GeForce GPU and 1GB of RAM.

The phone runs Google’s latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system with HTC Sense 4.0 UI on top. There’s also an impressive 8-megapixel man camera that features ImageSense technology, autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.

Moreover, the HTC One X delivers an authentic sound experience thanks to the Beats Audio technology, plus a Music Hub that better organizes all owners’ music types and a Sync Manager that wirelessly synchs playlists, including iTunes.

We are very excited to bring HTC’s latest and best smartphone the HTC One X to Vodafone customers. As the world’s first ever smartphone to feature a quad-core processor, the HTC One X promises a powerful smartphone experience,” said Ross Parker, General Manager of Devices and Pricing at Vodafone.
