Taiwanese handset vendor HTC Corporation is reportedly getting ready for the launch of a new flagship Android-based device, one that sports the codename of M8, and which is now rumored to arrive at all major US carriers in Q1 next year.

Info that emerged online courtesy of Twitter user @evleaks unveils that the upcoming device will be available for purchase in the United States via AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon, though a specific release date was not mentioned.

However, he did say that all carriers would be launching it at the end of the first quarter of the next year, which suggests that March would be the lucky timeframe for enthusiasts.

No info on the smartphone itself has been provided, but previous rumors suggested that it would feature a 5-inch screen, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU, and 3GB of RAM. However, it would sport the same 4MP UltraPixel camera as HTC One.
