Today, a leaked photo of what is said to be an upcoming Android smartphone from Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC has emerged online, along with some info on the handset itself.

Supposedly called HTC M4, the smartphone was spotted online before, suggested to arrive on shelves as a mid- or entry-level device, though it seems that it will sport better hardware specifications than that.

In fact, a recent article on PhoneArena claims that the smartphone will pack a design similar to the HTC One, though it will be smaller than the device already made official.

HTC M4 is said to pack a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, but will keep the same design elements as the HTC One, making the two almost identical.

When it comes to looks, the main differentiating factor between the two smartphones will be their different size, though the hardware specs of the devices will be different as well.

The HTC M4 is expected to arrive on shelves with a dual-core processor packed inside, though it will still feature 2GB of RAM, it seems.

Furthermore, the smartphone should include 16GB of internal memory, along with the same UltraPixel technology for the back camera.

Rumor has it that the upcoming HTC M4 will land on shelves with a 1700 mAh, non-removable battery packed inside, and that it will be released with Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean loaded on top right from the start.

Furthermore, available info suggests that the device might arrive on shelves with LTE connectivity packed inside, though a model without 4G capabilities might also be released.

For the time being, however, no official info on the smartphone has been provided, and it remains to be seen whether the rumored hardware specs mentioned above will indeed pan out. More details on the upcoming HTC M4 smartphone should emerge soon, so stay tuned to learn the news.
