Android enthusiasts living in India rejoice as HTC has just announced the upcoming availability of Hindi, Marathi and Tamil language support for all its Android smartphones launched in 2012.

Once support for these languages becomes available, users will be able to read and write in Hindi, Tamil and Marathi through all messaging functions on 2012 Android smartphones.

According to HTC, the One X, One S, One V, Desire C and Desire V will receive support for these three languages, but they will also be able to view a fourth language, Bengali, on selected applications available on Google Play.

Reading and writing capability for Hindi, Tamil and Marathi will be made available on Desire C and Desire V, via a software update that will be downloadable by users starting today. HTC One X, HTC One S and HTC One V will get support for these languages starting August 2012.
