HTC has never probably been as busy with smartphone releases as lately. At 3GSM they have launched not one, not two, but three devices at a time- something unheard of in their case (as I can remember). The three handhelds launched are the ones you and I, actually everybody out there, have been waiting for some time to officially arrive on the market.

Yes, we had pictures with them, we knew some parts of their spec sheets but those were only bits and piece (and, of course, leaked photos :) ). Now everyone can clearly see what was coming our way, while we were making suppositions and taking guesses.

The first of them, the HTC S710, also dubbed as the Vox (an old acquaintance of ours), runs a Windows Mobile 6 Standard with AKU 0.1.0 operating system on a 32 bit TI OMAP 850 processor at 201 MHz.

Its spec sheet is completed by a side sliding full featured QWERTY keyboard, a front standard numeric keypad, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, wireless Bluetooth stereo connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, a 2 megapixel digital camera with CMOS sensor, SDIO, microSD and Transflash memory expansion slots and a 2.4 inch 65k colors QVGA TFT LCD transflective display working at a 240x320 pixels resolution.

The next one is the HTC X7500, also known as the Advantage or Athena, a handheld running a Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC AKU 3.5 operating system on a 32 bit Intel Xscale PXA270 processor at 634 Mhz.

The spec sheet also mentions a detachable QWERTY keyboard, an 8 GB hard drive and a miniSD memory expansion card slot in case you run out of storage space, GPS support, 3G/HSPDA connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, stereo Bluetooth, motion sensor, a 5 inch VGA touchscreen, an ATI graphic chipset, 256 MB ROM and 128 MB RAM memory, a 3 megapixel digital camera and a VGA one for video calls, CSD, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS/HSPDA 850/1900/2100 MHz and GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz.

Quite a beast and if you want to get mobile and still feel like you're using your personal computer, this is the thing to buy.

The last, but not the least of them, is the P3350 also known as the Love, a device running a Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC AKU 3.5.0 OS on a 32 bit 201 MHz TI OMAP 850 processor, aided on his tasks by 256 MB ROM and 64 MB RAM memory.

This one also features an FM radio tuner, a media mixing software, a microSD memory expansion card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, stereo Bluetooth connectivity, a 2.8 inch 65k colors TFT touchscreen with a 240x310 resolution, GPRS and EDGE data transfer technologies and a 2 megapixel digital camera.

That is a nice line-up there and, in case you want to get a taste of the HTC flavored devices without paying a dime, there is a way. If you go here, you can win an HTC X7500 handheld if you convince HTC, in 15 words or less, that you are the one that should get it.

Good luck to all of you!
