Last week, we had the chance to have a look at two newly leaked handsets from Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation, namely the HTC Kingdom and the HTC Rider, and some more info on them had just emerged into the wild.

Apparently, the HTC Kingdom could be on its way to the United States market on the airwaves of wireless carrier Sprint, while the HTC Rider is reportedly getting closer and closer to a release of KT's network in South Korea.

Nothing was confirmed on this for the time being, nor even the existence of these two smartphones, but leaked ROMs which emerged on 911sniper show all of these details, a recent article on Pocketnow reads.

We already had the chance to have a look at the two handsets, since what supposedly were photos with them emerged into the wild last week, and now the said test ROMs leaked as well, further suggesting that the devices might be real.

The software that leaked for HTC Kingdom shows not only the fact that it might soon make an appearance on shelves at Sprint, but also that it sports a series of similarities with the HTC ThunderBolt smartphone on Verizon's network.

Chances are that the new device would be released as a WiMAX-enabled smartphone, though it is only a wild guess at the moment.

As for the HTC Rider, the leaked ROM shows that it would be destined for the wireless carrier KT in South Korea.

Previously, it was believed that it would arrive on shelves in Europe as a version of the HTC EVO 3D smartphone, but it seems that it would actually be aimed at the Asian market, although an appearance on the European shelves was not excluded.

No specific info on when these two smartphones might arrive on shelves emerged for the time being, but it might not be too long before more details on them become available, so stay tuned to learn the news.
