HTC Incredible S, one of the latest smartphones that HTC unveiled to the world with Google's Android operating system on board, is now available for purchase in the United States, unlocked.

According to the Amazon listing, the Android smartphone is currently in stock and available for purchase in a black flavor.

Users can purchase the new mobile phone via Amazon, for $579, and would enjoy support for GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and 3G HSDPA 900 / 2100 connectivity with it.

The handset comes with an S-LCD capacitive touchscreen 4.0 inches display, capable of delivering a 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

It also includes a Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon 1 GHz Scorpion application processor, with Adreno 205 GPU, complemented by 1.1GB of internal memory and a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.

The mobile phone also arrives on shelves with WLAN Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, EDR, and HSDPA, 14.4 Mbps and HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps capabilities, as well as with a built-in GPS receiver.

HTC Incredible S sports the HTC Sense UI on top of the Android operating system, as well as support for various Google Mobile services and applications available for download via the Android Market.
