Recently, Taiwan-based mobile phone maker HTC Corporation announced that it would start selling a new Android smartphone on the market in Singapore, namely the HTC Incredible, as soon as this weekend.

The new device, officially unveiled during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, will hit the local market with a suggested retail price of $758 attached to it, and should be available for purchase via mobile operators and authorized resellers, the company announced.

HTC Incredible S is one of the most advanced devices the company launched on the market, sporting a fast 1GHz application processor, complemented by HTC's unique Sense interface.

The handset vendor also explains that the new phone “combines cutting-edge design with a premium mobile experience,” and that it can deliver great performance levels whether it comes to browsing the Internet, playing game or running applications.

“HTC developed the HTC Sense experience to bring cutting-edge innovation to our customers in simple and natural ways that just make sense - this is what HTC Incredible S represents best,” said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC Corporation.

“These new phones offer an exhilarating mix of style, innovation and features that extend people’s mobile experience in ways that feel personal and completely original.”

The new smartphone arrives on shelves with a bright 4-inch WVGA Super LCD display that can provide crystal clear High-Definition rendering of videos or photos, as well as with stereo surround sound.

An 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back with dual flash enables users easily capture important moments in their life. It sports HD video recording capabilities too. A front-facing camera offers video calling support.

Moreover, the handset offers the possibility to share videos, photos and music directly to a TV using embedded DLNA technology.

“Showing what can be achieved when engineers and designers work together to raise the bar for mobile phone design, the HTC Incredible S smartphone features a stunning, contoured body that highlights the internal hardware components of the device,” the mobile phone maker stated.
