When it rains, it pours, and when it comes to seeing a LTE (Long Term Evolution) mobile phone launched on Verizon Wireless' airwaves, we can add a new rumor to the list. HTC Incredible HD, the Android-based mobile phone that was already rumored to be on its way to Big Red, is expected to be unveiled as soon as January 6th is here.

A page on 2mymob.com (via Engadget) touts a veiled HTC phone as being set to be brought to the spotlight as soon as January 6th, while packing 4G connectivity on board.

The handset is placed on the same page with HTC EVO 4G, the first Android-based mobile phone to arrive on shelves with support for the fourth generation of mobile connectivity.

On the same page, users would be able to see the myTouch 4G, the device that landed at T-Mobile a few months ago with support for the carrier's new HSPA+ network, capable of delivering 4G speeds.

Basically, there's little room for speculation here, as the only other 4G-capable handset that might arrive in the US with Android on board is said to be the Incredible HD, headed for Verizon's new LTE network.

And since the latest rumors on this device converged to the same point, the fact that this handset would be launched at CES 2011, the January 6th launch date is supposedly connected to this handset.

Unfortunately, no other info on this device was unveiled at the moment, nor is it very clear what's the connection between 2mymob.com and HTC.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the Incredible HD emerged only recently in a series of photos that showed various parts of the mobile phone, and which indicated a controlled leak.

One of these photos showed clearly the 4G icon on the mobile phone's screen, which confirmed the inclusion of LTE capabilities with the device. All the necessary details on this should emerge in about two weeks from now, so keep an eye on this space for more.
