A new Windows Phone 7 smartphone is reportedly on its way to the Canadian market on the airwaves of wireless carrier Bell, namely the HTC HD7.

There is no official confirmation on the said release, but chances are that it would all be unveiled in the near future, as the handset is rumored for a February 10th release, less than a month from now.

According to the guys over at MobileSyrup, although no official confirmation emerged on this, the upcoming release of HD7 at Bell Canada was tipped by several unofficial sources, and it might all pan out in the end.

No specific details on the possible price tag the new mobile phone might sport when made available for purchase at Bell surfaced for the time being, but it might not be too different from what other Windows Phone 7 handsets sport on the Canadian market at the moment.

The HD7 would become the second Windows Phone 7 smartphone put on sale in Canada via Bell, following the LG Optimus Quantum, which was launched in November last year.

In case there are some who might have not encountered the HTC HD7 before, we should note that this is the largest smartphone brought to shelves with Microsoft's new mobile operating system on board.

Sporting a massive 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display that boasts a 480 x 800 pixels resolution, the handset comes as the successor of the high-end HD2, which has just got its own Windows Phone 7 ROM.

The specifications list of the new device also includes a fast 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon application processor, along with 576MB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory (unfortunately, users can not add microSD memory cards into the mix to expand the available storage space).

Other specs of HTC HD7 would include a 5-megapixel photo snapper with auto focus, dual LED flash and the possibility to record HD videos, as well as Wi-Fi connectivity, a 1230 mAh battery, and 3.5 mm audio jack.
