A new Windows Phone 7 ROM has made an appearance into the wild with the new NoDo update included in the package, this time for the HTC HD7, following the emergence of a similar software for the HTC 7 Mozart.

The new RUU for “Schubert with NoDo update” made an appearance over at the XDA-Developers, and is available for download for all those who would like to give it a try.

RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_1.69.401.01_Radio_5.54.09. 21_22.33b.50.10_Signed is the file you should be looking for, which weighs in at 221.71 MB.

As stated above, the leaked ROM includes the NoDo update, which is also known as the copy&past update for Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 platform.

The software was not pushed to handsets as of yet, but Microsoft is expected to make the move as soon as this week, and the fact that two Windows Phone 7 ROMs already leaked with NoDo inside suggests that the release date should not be far at all.

For the time being, however, no official confirmation on the availability of this software update emerged, and some even suggested that it might have been delayed.

In addition to copy and paste functionality, the software would also provide users with performance enhancements when applications and games are involved, as well as with other improvements.

The leaked ROM for HTC HD7 is reportedly suitable only for stock devices, and might not work on handsets that landed on shelves at carriers.

Those who would like to try out the leaked ROM would need to create a gold card to ensure that the process is successful even on carrier branded devices.

All the necessary instructions on the matter are available on the XDA-Developers forum. However, considering the fact that Microsoft could push the official software update out in a matter of days, enthusiasts should wait for that to happen before rushing to install a leaked software.
