T-Mobile has just unveiled a few minutes ago on its official Twitter account that it will start selling one of the newly announced Windows Phone 7 smartphones, the HTC HD7, starting on November 8th.

Since Microsoft's official announcement didn't contain any specific schedule for a US release of its new mobile operating system, T-Mobile's twitted-post is making the things more clear now.

Even though rumors already set the official launch date on November 8th, nothing is really certain, until one of the carriers would reveal its Windows Phone 7 agenda.

T-Mobile also unveiled the price of the HTC HD7 smartphone, which is $199.99 after rebate and two-year contract.

HTC HD7, also known as HTC Mondrian, is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 1 GHz processor and runs the new Microsoft Windows Phone 7 operating system.

The device comes with an impressive 4.3-inch S-LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16 Million colors support (480 x 800 pixels resolution), accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, proximity sensor for auto turn-off.

It is also certain that the smartphone will include 16GB internal memory, as well as 512 MB ROM and 576 MB RAM, and of course it lacks a microSD card slot for memory expansion.

Other key features of the phone include: HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, HSUPA 2 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, 3.5 mm audio jack, GPS with A-GPS support (Bing Maps), Digital compass, Dolby Mobile and SRS sound enhancement, 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, dual-LED flash and video recording capabilities (720p).

The smartphone's 1230 mAh Li-Ion battery is rated by the manufacturer for up to 6 hours and 20 minutes of talk time or 310 hours of standby.

Stay tuned for more information regarding other Windows Phone 7 smartphone that are about to hit the shelves in the US in the coming weeks.
