A new video ad for the high-end HTC HD2 is now available for your viewing pleasure, released into the wild by wireless carrier T-Mobile itself. Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation had already launched a wide range of videos touting the capabilities of this Windows Mobile-based device, yet the new ad was published by T-Mobile USA on its own YouTube channel, being meant to show the carrier’s approach on the marketing of the gadget.

Here's how the video is described: “Introducing HTC HD2 exclusively from T-Mobile. The ultra-thin HTC HD2 features a 4.3-inch, high-resolution display that delivers a truly cinematic experience. It is also the first Windows phone with capacitive touch technology and it is powered by the lightning-fast 1GHz Snapdragon processor - making it really fast and smooth as you switch between applications, browse through websites or play games.”

Some of the latest videos released with the HTC HD2 were mainly focused on showing that large touchscreen display the handset includes, but T-Mobile aimed with the new ad at bringing to the front other features and capabilities of the device too. Not only does the HD2 sport a slim design, but it also offers fast performance, enhanced entertainment functionalities, multi-touch, and much more. To learn more on it, just take a look at the video embedded at the end of this article (via TmoNews).

The HD2 arrived in the US roughly ten days ago, exclusively at T-Mobile. When compared to the model that landed on the market last year, the new device packed additional features, not to mention that the wireless carrier also pre-loaded it with a wide range of applications. The phone runs under Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system and won't be upgraded to the newer Windows Phone 7, but users are still attracted to it, it seems, as the first batch of units was reportedly sold out in only a few hours after sales started.
