Taiwanese handset maker HTC unveiled yesterday the upcoming availability of its new Android flagship smartphone, the One X+. The smartphone will be launched in Europe and North Asia this month, while South Asia will get it in November.
The smartphone comes with several new features and services, which are meant to improve the overall user experience. The “HTC Get Started” service is among the new features that come with the HTC One X+
However, the service will only be available in the following countries: Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UAE and United Kingdom.
It’s likely that the service will be made available in additional countries, including India, but for the time being only users in the regions mentioned above can take advantage of the HTC Get Started service.
We can speculate that the new service will be made available in India the moment HTC One X+ hits shelves, though this has yet to be confirmed.
It is also worth mentioning that this service will be made compatible with other smartphones in the One series. In addition, HTC devices
that run Sense 3.5 and newer UIs will also get the HTC Get Started service sometime in the following months.
