HTC Explorer Now Available in the UK via Clove

A new Android-based mobile phone from HTC is now available for purchase in the UK, namely the low-end HTC Explorer.

Online retailer Clove has added the mobile phone to its offering for £192 ($305 / 220 Euros), VAT included.

The smartphone was unveiled to the world only recently with Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system on board and with appealing features inside.

On top of Android 2.3.5, HTC also included the HTC Sense 3.5 user interface on this device, so that its users can benefit from a better experience than before.

The new mobile phone comes with a 3.2” touchscreen display and fast application processor, as well as with WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 capabilities.

“The HTC Explorer has been designed to make life simpler and easier. It features an updated version of HTC Sense which makes keeping in contact with your friends and family a more enjoyable experience,” Clove explains.

“There is a 3.2” touchscreen display so you can enjoy your photos and movies while on the move. While the latest Bluetooth and WiFi technology has been included for quicker communication.”

Although an affordable smartphone, the new HTC Explorer can provide users with features and capabilities available inside higher-end phones.

Not to mention that the new Sense UI has been designed so as to deliver a faster and more appealing social networking experience.

“The updated HTC Sense makes it quick and intuitive to keep in contact, with it now being possible to be reminded of messages and your contacts details when they phone,” Clove explains.

“Or why not benefit from the smart dialling which enables you to search for a contact by typing in there names or initials. If you often send the same message to several friends the grouping options make it simple to group them together. This means that you can send one message to every person within that group.”
