T-Mobile USA is about to launch the Samsung Galaxy Note phablet soon, but this won’t be the only powerful Android phone that the carrier will release in the following weeks.

It looks like the folks over at TmoNews have just learned that the previously rumored HTC Era 42 will be launched at T-Mobile USA as HTC One X+.

Word is that the ‘+’ sign attached to the phone’s name comes from the fact that it will be equipped with an Nvidia Tegra 3 chipset, which will embed a 1.7 GHz processor.

The HTC One X+ is expected to hit shelves at T-Mobile USA sometime in September for a price that will be disclosed closer to launch date. There are no other details on the phone’s specs sheet, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
