It will go on sale for as low as $200 (€155) on contract

As expected, Sprint has just kicked off pre-orders for HTC EVO 4G LTE. The smartphone will be available for purchase for only $199.99 (€155) with a new two-year agreement.

Although Sprint has yet to announced the EVO 4G LTE exact release date, rumor has it that the smartphone is slated for a May 18 launch.

Aside from LTE, the device is expected to arrive with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on board, as well as with the famous dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz.

In addition, the EVO 4G LTE boasts a vibrant 4.7-inch Super IPS LCD2 capacitive touchscreen display that supports 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass coating.

On the inside, the smartphone packs 16GB of internal memory, 1GB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB). Check it out here.
