Sprint customers rejoice as HTC EVO 4G LTE is now available for purchase both online and in carrier’s brick and mortar stores.

After a long wait, the smartphone has finally reached Sprint’s airwaves, though HTC EVO 4G LTE shipments were initially blocked at US Customs due to an order issued by ITC.

Fortunately, HTC was able to settle all patent via lotions reported by Apple in about one week, so customers who pre-ordered the EVO 4G LTE could get their devices as soon as possible.

Although the smartphone was originally slated for a May 18 release, HTC EVO 4G LTE only hit shelves this weekend and is now available for purchase for as low as $199.99 (160 EUR) with a new two-year agreement.

Customers who do not wish to commit to a long-term contract can acquire the HTC EVO 4G LTE for $549.99 (440 EUR) upfront.

The smartphone is shipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system integrated with HTC Sense 4.0 UI. The phone comes with a built-in kickstand, as well as four touch-sensitive buttons.

The EVO 4G LTE boasts a stunning 4.7-inch Super IPS LCD2 capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution, and features Corning Gorilla Glass coating for extra protection.

The phone is powered by a dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, which is complemented by an Adreno 225 GPU and 1GB of RAM.

On the inside, the EVO 4G LTE packs 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD.

It comes with a high-capacity 2,000 mAh Li-Ion battery that should provide users with up to 7.5 hours of talk time. There’s also an enhanced 8-megapixel rear camera that features HTC’s ImageSense technology, autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording. Check it out here.
