Users interested in the purchase of a new smartphone on the airwaves of Sprint have now the possibility to get the HTC EVO 3D from Wirefly for only $49.99 with the signing of a two-year contract agreement. The handset is available for purchase from Sprint for $199.99 on a two-year contract, but those who would like to make an acquisition will find it for far less at the online retailer.

The HTC EVO 3D for Sprint was the first smartphone on the US market to arrive with a 4.3" 3D qHD display on board, while packing a fast 1.2GHz dual-core application processor inside.

Moreover, the handset comes with support for Sprint's 4G network, as well as with access to a wide range of services and applications available for handsets that run under Google's Android operating system.

“The HTC EVO 3D for Sprint is America's first 4G smartphone with a 4.3" 3D qHD display that allows users to capture, record, and playback in 3D - without 3D glasses,” Wirefly notes on its website.

“With the latest version of the acclaimed HTC Sense user experience and powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread, HTC EVO 3D is ideal for users who want to both stream video and generate their own video experience to record life's moments, view them in 3D, and share them easily.”

The HTC EVO 3D comes with dual five-megapixel cameras on the back, which enable it to record 3D content in 720p HD resolution, as well as 2D content in full HD.

The mobile phone also comes with a front facing camera for video calling, as well as with a microSD memory card slot with support for additional storage space.

The specifications list of HTC EVO 3D also includes WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as built-in GPS receiver, 3G/4G Mobile hotspot, 3.5mm headphone jack, and the usual set of sensors.

“Users can quickly download movies, create user-generated content, and enjoy a Flash-enabled web browsing experience using the speed of the 3G/4G network and the power of a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor,” the retailer continues.

“HTC EVO 3D takes full advantage of Sprint's powerful 4G network and offers the innovation one would expect as the next benchmark device in the prestigious EVO line of devices.”

Not to mention that EVO 3D users can also unlock the bootloader on their devices, via the specific website that HTC has put in place for this, HTCdev.
