It arrives on shelves as an entry-level Android smartphone

Following the official unveiling of its new Desire P smartphone in Taiwan, HTC introduced another device in its homeland market, namely the Desire Q.

Set to arrive on shelves as an entry-level device, the new smartphone packs a 4-inch TFT LCD screen capable of delivering an 800 x 480 pixels resolution, as well as a 1GHz processor, paired with 512MB of RAM.

Furthermore, the handset sports 4GB of internal memory, microSD memory card slot, a 5-megapixel camera on the back, Beats Audio technology, Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth v4.0, and a 1650 mAh battery, while offering support for 3G connectivity.

The phone arrives on shelves in the country in red, black, and white color flavors with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and HTC Sense loaded in it, featuring a price tag of NT $6,990 (US $234 / 183 Euro), juggly reports. Desire Q can be seen on this page on HTC’s website.
