14 DAY TRIAL // Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation has been rumored a while ago to plan on releasing new devices in the Desire lineup, namely the Desire P and Desire Q, and both handsets supposedly emerged online in leaked photos.
No official confirmation on the existence of these handsets has been provided, yet the vendor is expected to launch more Android devices to complement the flagship HTC One, and said phones could very well prove its next phones, though only mid- and entry-level ones.
In fact, both of them are said to arrive on shelves with modest specifications packed inside, though still capable of providing users with appealing features.
Available courtesy of android4tw, said photos with the two smartphones show that they will be almost identical with the already existing Desire SV, Desire V and other smartphones in the company’s lineup, which makes us question the authenticity of these images.
The news site also claims that the Desire P will arrive on the market with a 1GHz dual-core processor packed inside, and that it would also feature an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, paired with a front camera for making video calls.
Expected to arrive on the market in Ruby Red and Pearl White color flavors, it should sport a price tag of 10,900 Taiwan Dollar ($365 / 282 Euro) when released.
As for Desire Q, which borrows design elements from Desire U, and Desire V, it might arrive on shelves with hardware specs similar to those of Desire U, though specific info on what to expect from it hasn’t been provided as of now.
However, the phone is said to arrive on the market in three different color flavors, namely Black, Red and White, and to feature a price tag of 6,990 Taiwan Dollar ($234 / 180 Euro).
