It appears that the HTC Desire HD ROM

we were telling you about not too long ago has more goodies inside it than originally reported, including the new HTC Sense from the Taiwanese mobile phone maker, which was ported to more devices out there.

The said HTC Desire HD ROM is already available for download on various sites around the Internet, and the guys over at XDA-Developers grabbed it and started to play around with it, it appears.

The result of this is that the newly announced HTC Sense user interface from the handset vendor, along with all the services that it was packed with, can be brought to more devices, including some who are not meant to get it.

One such example would be the Motorola DROID / Milestone, which has just received the solution, a XDA-Developers forum member notes in a recent post.

Here's what the said forum member states about the solution:

"Port of the HTC froyo 2.2 release, based on newest senseui release. USB, GPS, GSM, Mobiledata, Wifi, apps2sd froyo function etc.. works... check it, it might be ok for you, if you're a SenseUI fan! WIPE / factory reset is NOT possible after install, you need to restore this img, if you wish to reset senseui to factory settings. NOTE: remove usb cable during boot, or it can freeze during startup! BLUETOOTH does not work."

For what it's worth, one might get a nicely working Sense UI on that Motorola DROID / Milestone, even if there still are some issues that need to be taken care of.

Other Android-based mobile phones are also expected to get the solution pretty soon, now that the ROM was made available for download and that many enthusiasts already started working on it.

The Froyo (FRF91) ROM comes with new features aimed at making Sense seem much better, including: - HTC Sense in landscape mode - Recent apps listed in the notification bar - Additional camera options and effects - An improved YouTube player

Head over to XDA-Developers for more info on the matter, or keep an eye on this space for further updates.
