The handset runs Android 4.0 ICS, features Sense 4.0

Recently, Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation unveiled a new budget-friendly device, the HTC Desire C, which has just made an appearance on shelves in India.

The handset is available for purchase through Buy the Price, featuring a price tag of INR 14,299 ($255 / €205), all without fanfare, Androidos.in reports.

The smartphone offers appealing features and capabilities at this price tag, starting with its 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive display and the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with the Sense 4.0 UI loaded on top of it.

The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 600MHz single core processor and features 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. Users also benefit from 25GB of free Dropbox storage.

It also comes with a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, Beats Audio, and the usual set of sensors and connectivity options.
