Last month, HTC unveiled to the world two new handsets in its mid-range series of devices, namely the HTC Desire 816 and Desire 610, and info on the price tags that these two will sport when released in Europe is now available.

Both smartphones were spotted on the website of Amazon Germany, which confirms not only that they will arrive in Germany in the near future, but also the fact that they won’t be expensive.

To be more precise, the retailer has the HTC Desire 816 on its website with a price tag of €379 ($527) attached to it, while listing the HTC Desire 610 at €299 ($415).

As GSMArena notes, another German retailer has added the Desire 816 to its offering as well, with a price tag of €400 ($556) attached to it.

Moreover, the two handsets have been listed on Amazon Spain as well, but with a slightly higher cost, at €430 ($598) and €350 ($487), respectively. However, chances are that the phones be sold for less than that in the end.

For those out of the loop, we should note that HTC has unveiled the new Desire 816 smartphone with a large 5.5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution.

The mobile phone also comes to the market with a 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor packed inside, as well as with 1.5GB of RAM.

Moreover, it features 8GB of internal memory, along with a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 64GB of additional storage space.

On the back, the phone packs a 13-megapixel camera with support for full HD video recording, paired with a 5MP front camera for making video calls while on the go.

HTC Desire 816 was unveiled with 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS receiver, and the usual set of sensors. It is expected to arrive on shelves with the Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS loaded on top right from the start.

As for Desire 610, it sports a smaller design, since it employs only a 4.7-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a 540 x 960-pixel resolution.

The phone was unveiled with a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU inside, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal memory, along with a microSD memory card slot. Moreover, it sports the same 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity capabilities, along with GPS receiver.

HTC Desire 610 comes to the market with an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash on the back, capable of 720p video recording, as well as with a 1.3MP front camera. The phone is powered by a Li-Po 2040 mAh battery and runs under one of the latest Android versions out there, most probably KitKat.
