HTC continues to roll out its mid-range Android smartphones in Asia and parts of Europe, but it looks like the Taiwanese handset maker is also aiming the United States for at least one of its devices.

The unannounced HTC Desire 510 is said to arrive in the US though major carrier Sprint, though the information has not been confirmed yet. According to @evleaks, the said smartphone is set to be released by Sprint, but no details on its exact release date are available yet.

Given the fact that the smartphone hasn’t been announced yet, there’s no telling what its specs sheet looks like. Still, we believe the device is likely to be a lower version of the Desire 610, which has also been tipped to arrive in the US via AT&T.

The Desire 610 is a quad-core smartphone powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The phone sports a large enough 4.7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports qHD (540 x 960 pixels) resolution.

It also packs an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back with LED flash, autofocus and full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as a secondary 1.3-megapixel camera in the front.

HTC Desire 510 may get slightly lower specs than the Desire 610’s that we mentioned earlier, or it may be Sprint’s own version of the same device (less likely). We will keep an eye out for any additional details on the matter, so stay tuned for more on this one.
