Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation is working on the release of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean for the owners of HTC One smartphones, yet it still has to provide a specific timeframe for it.

In fact, it seems that the handset vendor has pushed the deployment back a bit, without offering details on the matter, but it is still committed to making it available for its customers.

According to Engadget, the company confirmed this after wireless carrier Three UK unveiled on Twitter that the update had been pulled, and that no release date could be offered.

“Hi, we've learnt HTC have just pulled the 4.2.2 release, we don't yet have a new schedule for this,” the carrier said. Hopefully, it will arrive sooner rather than later, so stay tuned for more on this.
