Today’s smartphones pack a great deal of cutting-edge technology, yet it appears that there is always room for a bit more. Users certainly like to get more from new handsets, and concept phones can always prove a great way to learn what they dream of. One of these devices is the HTC Cemile, a smartphone powered by Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and featuring a large 4.8-inch touchscreen display.

The screen should be able to deliver a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, which makes it much better than what other smartphones with large screens have to offer.

The specifications list of this new concept phone also includes a 16-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with dual LED flash and support for HD video recording. There will also be a 2MP camera on he front for video calling.

The processor powering this smartphone should be high-end as well, since it can deliver great connectivity options.

Thus, the HTC Cemile is said to sport HSPA+ and LTE connectivity capabilities, along with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0, as well as NFC support, and the Android beam capabilities that Android 4.0 brought to the market.

The concept phone is said to feature 32GB of internal memory, while being powered by a next-generation mobile RAM, for increased performance capabilities.

As can be seen in the images attached to this article, coming from HTC Concepts, the smartphone was designed with a metallic case, as well as with changeable virtual buttons that can be easily reconfigured courtesy of a special feature.

Beats Audio with Solo earphones might also be included into the mix, to make the amazingly thin HTC Cemile handset even more appealing.

For the time being, we should take this mobile phone for what it is, namely a concept device. However, we can hope that it will turn into a real smartphone someday.
