Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation is reportedly gearing up for the launch of its HTC Butterfly smartphone in India before the end of this month, after it had made it available in other countries around the world since last year.

The high-end Android smartphone is expected to feature a price tag of around INR 44,000 ($804 / €606) when made available in the country, though no confirmation on the matter has emerged so far, Androidos.in reports.

HTC Butterfly was made official with a 5-inch touchscreen display on the front, capable of delivering a full HD resolution, as well as with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor packed inside.

It also sports 2GB of RAM, along with 16GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot. On the back, it packs an 8-megapixel photo snapper, complemented by a 2MP front camera for making video calls.
