HTC Corporation has been long rumored to plan the release of a successor for last year’s HTC Butterfly flagship, and some more info on the device’s availability is now available.

Apparently, although Butterfly was launched on Verizon’s network in fall as DROID DNA, the successor, called Butterfly S, will be released on shelves at Sprint, the second large CDMA carrier in the United States, a recent tweet from @LlabTooFeR claims.

No specific info on the device’s pricing or release date has been provided as of now, but the Taiwanese mobile phone maker is expected to make it all official on June 19.

Rumor has it that Butterfly S will include a 5-inch 1080p display, a new Qualcomm Snapdragon processor inside, an UltraPixel photo snapper on the back, and Sense 5 loaded on top of Android.
