Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation has been long rumored to plan the launch of a successor for its HTC Butterfly smartphone, and it seems that the handset has already made an appearance online in a leaked photo.

Supposedly called HTC Butterfly S, the phone is shown in the aforementioned leaked image with BoomSound technology packed inside, in line with other recent devices in the company’s lineup, as Engadget notes.

The leaked photo emerged over at vr-zone, which also claims that HTC will pack it with a 5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a full HD resolution, with dual-speakers next to it. An UltraPixel camera is expected on the back of the phone.

The smartphone is also expected to arrive on the market with the Sense 5 UI loaded on top of Android, with all the features that it has been released with on HTC One, including BlinkFeed.
