HTC Butterfly is the international flavor of the HTC J Butterfly that was launched in Japan in October, and which has already landed in the United States at Verizon under the name of DROID DNA by HTC.
This is the first smartphone from HTC to be released with a 5-inch touchscreen display on the front, capable of delivering a 1080p full HD resolution and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2.
The smartphone also arrives on shelves with a quad-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, as well as with 2GB of RAM to ensure increased performance capabilities.
There is also a 16GB internal memory for users to enjoy, along with a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32BG of external storage space.
On the back, the handset sports an 8-megapixel photo snapper with F2.0 aperture and 28mm lens, offering support for 1080p HD video recording and complemented by a 2.1-megapixel front camera for full HD video chatting.
