HTC Bliss, the smartphone that HTC Corporation is reportedly preparing to bring to the market with a series of features aimed mainly at women, has just leaked in what appears to be the first press photo with it.

The handset was spotted into the wild quite a few times before, and its entire list of specifications was unveiled to the world recently, but it seems that there still are some details on it that need attention.

Rumor has it that the new mobile phone will be on its way to the market as the HTC Rhyme, and that it will be officially introduced as soon as next week.

HTC will hold a press event in New York City on September 20th, and the HTC Bliss is expected to become official on that day.

Although we learned that the device will be called HTC Rhyme when made available on shelves, no specific info on when that might happen has been made available until now.

The handset, however, did make it to the headlines quite a lot before, as various hands-on photos with it were published on the web, along with its hardware specifications and the like.

HTC Bliss will not be a high-end device when released, but it will still include decent specs, such as a 3.7-inch touchscreen display that will deliver an 800 x 480 pixels resolution, or a fast application processor.

Moreover, the new device is expected to sport a 5-megapixel photo snapper with HD video recording capabilities, along with a front camera for video calling.

It will also include WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity capabilities, along with built-in GPS receiver, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD memory card slot for expanding the available storage space. Rumor has it that HTC is aiming at launching more than one color flavor of this mobile phone, including silver / white, pink / yellow and dark blue. (via)
