Wireless carrier AT&T has just put on sale a new mobile phone, powered by Google's Android operating system, the HTC Aria, which is available with a price tag of $129.99 upon the signing of a two-year service agreement with the carrier, and after a mail-in rebate. This mid-level handset comes with a slim body, it boasts a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display and runs under Android 2.1, but, in case some might consider the price tag as being too high for the Aria, a new offer is available for them, coming from Dell, which has the device available for free.

Not only is the HTC Aria available for free when purchased from Dell, but those who would opt for it should also enjoy free activation of a new line, along with free shipping. In the box, users should find the HTC Aria, along with a Battery, Charger, Data Cable, 3.5MM Headset, Quick Start Guide, 2GB microSD (Pre-installed). In case these 2GB seem too little, one can easily install a new card on the device, as it supports up to 32GB of additional storage space.

“This solid, yet elegant phone sports a seamless, smooth surface shaped from a single block of jet black aluminum, hiding a powerful processor that handles multitasking with ease. The ultra-slim Aria is compact enough to slip into a shirt pocket, yet nimble enough to hop between a host of home screens and simultaneously-running apps running on the award-winning HTC Sense User Interface. With the customization of Android and the ease of HTC's award-winning HTC Sense User Interface, you can make your HTC Aria completely yours. Personalize individual homescreens for work, play, travel, or life,” is what the handset's description reads over at Dell.

The specifications list of the new device also includes a 5-megapixel photo snapper, support for AT&T's 3G network, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Stereo Headset (A2DP) connectivity options, Micro-USB port, pre-loaded apps and services like Google Maps, Gmail, Google Talk, Search, and YouTube, along with support for AT&T's own services. The HTC Aria measures 4.1 x 2.3 x 0.5 inches and weighs in at 3.9 ounces, while being powered by a Li-Ion battery that can offer up to 6 hours of talk time or up to 15.5 days of standby time. Those interested in purchasing the HTC Aria from Dell will find it available here.
