Today, global designer of smartphones HTC Corporation announced the launch of its HTC Aria mobile phone on the market in Hong Kong. According to the company, the new Android-based device

is available in the Hong Kong market exclusively on the airwaves of SmarTone-Vodafone, while SiS International Limited is the Hong Kong exclusive distributor of the device.

The new mobile phone is set to bring along the already highly popular HTC Sense solution to the Hong Kong market, which has been designed to deliver the information users want straight to the handset's homescreen.

The HTC Sense solution on HTC Aria is meant to provide users with more ways to stay connected with their contacts, including Friend Stream, developed so as to bring together Facebook, Twitter and Flickr updates in a single view.

“Its unique combination of compact size and beautiful design instantly separates HTC Aria from the pack of ‘me-too’ smartphones. But what really differentiates HTC Aria from other smartphones is the acclaimed HTC Sense experience,” Jack Tong, vice president of HTC Asia Pacific, commented.

“By putting people at the center of everything it does, HTC Aria organizes all of your communications in the most human way possible – by person,” he continued.

The specifications list of the new device also includes a bright 3.2-inch touchscreen display that boasts a HVGA resolution, a 5-megapixel photo snapper, and an ultra-small design.

Not to mention that the handset offers fast access to the Android Market, from where users can easily download various applications to customize the experience they receive.

Popular Google services are also supported by HTC Aria, including Google search, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube and others more.

It's also worth mentioning that all these features are packed inside a device that is just over 10cm long, and which weighs in at only 115g with the battery included.
