The HTC Advantage, that some people know as the Athena/Ameo, is soon going to be available to customers in the US. The US version will in fact sport somewhat better looks meaning that it will come with a jet grey/black finish that gives it a more serious and appealing aspect than in the case of its twin, the silver Ameo.

Other than that it comes with the same impressive features, including a 5 inch screen with a VGA resolution, 256MB ROM, 128RAM, 8GB hard disk ensuring that the user has quite a lot of storage space at his/her disposal, an attachable QWERTY keypad, tri-band UMTS/HSDPA capabilities, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support, Bluetooth and WiFi for connectivity and a MicroSD card slot.

Be ready to use this feature packed device for work as well play as it offers every thing you need in both cases. According to HTC it was optimized for outstanding performance, whether it is to deliver the best possible web browsing experience or to offer up to 8 hours worth of battery life.

The Advantage is packed with business-ready features and can be considered a great tool for business professionals that can work while on the move, remain in contact with their office, edit and view documents and more. As for the fun side of the Advantage, its hard drive allows the storage of up to 5 hours of video, 2000 tracks or 25, 000 photos taken with the auto focus 3-megapixel camera.

The down side is that it won't be offered with a subsidy by a wireless carrier, but directly from Amazon and other retailers during this summer, so if you plan on getting yourself an Advantage, be ready to spend a somewhat considerable amount of money on this one.
