Two unannounced mobile phones from HTC have just made an appearance on Vodafone's internal systems, it seems. The code-names for these devices have been spotted into the wild before, namely Ace and Vision, and it seems that they are moving closer to proving being real devices, in addition to nearing their official release dates.

According to a series of screenshots that reportedly show Vodafone's internal systems (which emerged on the German blog BestBoyZ, via Android Central), the said HTC Ace and Vision handsets are set to land on the market as the HTC Desire HD and HTC Desire Z, respectively.

While the name of HTC Desire HD has emerged over the Internet before, the HTC Desire Z moniker seems to be rather new.

Both these devices made it into the wild not too long ago, though under different circumstances. The HTC Ace was said at one point to be the European version of HTC EVO 4G, though stripped of that WiMAX connectivity, while Vision was expected to turn into T-Mobile USA's first HSPA+ smartphone. Vision is only the codename, which means that this rumor might still pan out, even if the phone is expected to arrive at Vodafone as HTC Desire Z.

When it comes to the specs list of these two devices, little is known on Desire Z, though some rumored info on Desire HD did emerge a couple of weeks ago.

It seems that HTC Ace, aka European EVO 4G, should include a 4.3-inch WVGA screen, a 1GHz Snapdragon, an 8MP camera with 720p video recording capabilities, 4GB of onboard memory, and an UniBody Aluminium Design, similar with the HTC Legend sports.

No specific info on when the two mobile phones might be launched on the market emerged for the time being, but previous rumors suggested that we should be able to see them available for purchase before the year's end. However, it still remains to be seen whether the leaked info on their names would pan out, as well as where HTC would put them on sale.
