Over the weekend, info on an unannounced HTC smartphone emerged online, suggesting that it would be released as a new Desire variant, and new details on the device are now available.

The handset supposedly features the codename of HTC A11, and is now said to be arriving on shelves at Sprint, though no specific info on when that could happen has been provided as of now.

Said details were revealed by Twitter user @UpLeaks, who also published two photos with the device, which can be seen attached to this post.

The handset is expected to arrive on shelves with entry- to mid-range capabilities, starting with a 4.7-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering an 854 x 480 pixels resolution.

However, it appears that Sprint’s customers will still be in for a treat when purchasing this device, as it will be powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor.

On the back, the handset will include a 5-megapixel camera, complemented by a VGA front camera. HTC A11 will run under Android 4.4 KitKat, but will also sport the Sense 6 UI loaded on top.

As mentioned above, no info on when the new device might go official has been provided as of now, but more on it could emerge soon, so stay tuned.
